About

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Amber Gregory is a Mixed Media artist who currently resides in the greater Seattle area. Her recent work explores themes of loss, isolation, and resiliency. This builds on previous examinations of the way memories shape our identities and influence how we are seen by ourselves and others. She employs a combination of photo collage, heat transfer, and hand stitching to give physical form to these ideas. Her distinctive technique was inspired by a bookmaking class she took while earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Fontbonne University in Saint Louis, Missouri.
